Donald Trump just picked a bizarre fight with Susan Collins, and they’re both going to lose
Earlier today Palmer Report brought you the story of how Senator Susan Collins had posted her latest ‘I’m concerned’ routine about Donald Trump’s latest criminal scheme. Everyone knows that based on her past history, Collins isn’t planning to take any action against Trump. The thing is, Trump doesn’t seem to know it.
After whistleblower Dr. Rick Bright appeared on 60 Minutes tonight, Trump went on long rampage and ended up tweeting this: “This whole Whistleblower racket needs to be looked at very closely, it is causing great injustice & harm. I hope you are listening Susan Collins.”
Wait, what? Why is Donald Trump going at Susan Collins like this? Did he forget that whenever she tweets her choreographed ‘concern” about Trump’s antics, she’s just trying to cover herself? This suggests that Trump is so far gone, he can’t even remember what the grift is here.
This is also pretty foolish on Donald Trump’s part. Susan Collins is as egomaniacal and vindictive as Trump is. Now that Trump is trying to pick a fight with Collins, she just might decide to punish him for it. In any case, with Trump and Collins both facing the strong prospect of losing in November, they’re only hurting themselves by going at each other.
