Donald Trump is digging himself an even deeper hole tonight

Dear Palmer Report readers,

We all understand what a dark era we're heading into. Journalists will be prosecuted. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. Advertising networks can't be counted on. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight, because someone has to.

In that regard we're looking to start funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens or how dark things get. We've launched a reader supported fund, and we've already raised $3360 and counting. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can contribute here. Thank you in advance.
Sincerely,

Donald Trump spent the weekend ranting and raving about some kind of tinfoil hat conspiracy theory involving President Obama that absolutely no one understands. Even after Trump posted more than a hundred tweets about it, the whole thing still made no sense. When Trump was asked about it during his press briefing today, he refused to specify what he’s even accusing Obama of having done.

The only reason Donald Trump didn’t face major blow back for his non-answer about “Obamagate” today is that he’s too busy facing major blowback for his racist attack on a reporter and his subsequent decision to sheepishly flee the stage. But Trump just can’t let a bad idea go, so tonight he’s back to tweeting about Obamagate – whatever it might be.

To that end, Trump just tweeted a ten minute long video of Fox News idiot Tucker Carlson trying frantically to piece together Trump’s tweets into some kind of coherent conspiracy theory. The whole segment is stupid beyond words. Trump just keeps digging himself a bigger hole by obsessively trying to pick a fight with President Obama that he’s not equipped to take on and has no chance of winning.
