Donald Trump’s press briefing today is already off to a disastrous start

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand what a dark era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. Advertising networks can't be counted on. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight, because someone has to.

In that regard we're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. We've launched a reader supported fund, and we've already raised $3760 and counting. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can contribute here. Thank you in advance.
Sincerely,

Donald Trump just couldn’t stay away. After his disinfectant meltdown prompted him to take some time away from doing press briefings, he decided he needed to do one this afternoon. It’s still getting underway, but it’s already clear that Trump has no idea why he’s even holding this briefing.

During his opening prepared remarks alone, Donald Trump is already going off the rails, saying incoherent things like “I’m feeling it. I’ve felt things a lot in my life.” He’s also bragging about his imaginary border wall, as if that had anything to do with a pandemic.

It’s also surreal that Donald Trump is still standing up there refusing to wear a mask, just an hour after the news broke that he’s ordered everyone in the White House to wear a mask. So, as usual, he thinks the rules apply to everyone but him. Meanwhile, this disastrous briefing won’t do anything to stop the coronavirus outbreak that’s already on the loose within Trump’s White House.
