Donald Trump is having his “Mission accomplished” moment – and it’s a disaster for him

We've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.

Donald Trump has traveled to Arizona to tour a corporate manufacturing plant today, in some kind of weird attempt at convincing us that the coronavirus is now magically over and the economy is now magically going to be okay. To give you an idea of how inept and tone-deaf this plan is, Trump wore safety goggles during his tour, but no mask.

The Trump regime also let it be known today that the coronavirus task force is now “winding down,” in a further attempt at painting a picture of this crisis being over. Meanwhile back in the real world, the Trump regime’s own recently leaked documents reveal that it expects the daily death toll to be twice as bad a month from now as it is right now.

Donald Trump is clearly trying to pull a “Mission Accomplished” gambit here. That’s cute. Some people might even believe it, for now, until they see where the death toll heads in the coming weeks. Trump has spent a lot of time ranting about George W. Bush over the past few days. Perhaps Trump should ask Bush how his “Mission Accomplished” moment went for him.

It's been a tough week, a tough month, a tough year. For all of us. But the fight goes on. Because we know how important this is. Because we care. Because we're the ones who fight. It's you and me. It has been for a decade. And I'm never backing down. But Palmer Report does have operating expenses. And in this uncertain time, I truly need your help. For that reason I've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.
