Saw that one coming
Early this morning, Palmer Report pointed out that Donald Trump was now finding himself in yet another domestic terrorist type situation of his own making. He tweeted “LIBERATE MICHIGAN!” and referenced the Second Amendment in the process. Then armed lunatics in Michigan tried to take over the state capitol building.
The last time Trump was in this situation, after his white supremacist supporters murdered Heather Heyer, he said that there were “very fine people on both sides.” Palmer Report predicted that he would pull something similar again this time. Sure enough, Trump tweeted this today:
The Governor of Michigan should give a little, and put out the fire. These are very good people, but they are angry. They want their lives back again, safely! See them, talk to them, make a deal.

“Very good people.” There you have it. Donald Trump has created an armed conflict in Michigan so he can try to play faux-negotiator. Nice try. What an increasingly senile Trump doesn’t get is that this kind of nonsense doesn’t actually get him any additional voters – and his approval rating is so low that he’s in dire need of additional voters.
