Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have something cooking for tomorrow

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Each day the cable news networks air a two hour infomercial for Donald Trump’s 2020 campaign, disguised as a coronavirus press briefing. Joe Biden frequently holds press briefings and online events of his own, but the cable news networks always pretend these events don’t exist. Fortunately for Biden, Trump’s daily briefings have been such a disaster, they’ve basically been an advertisement for Biden.

Now that Trump has supposedly decided to stop holding press briefings, we’ll see if cable news networks decide to finally give Joe Biden some equal time. The first big test will come tomorrow, when Biden and Kamala Harris hold an online town hall to discuss the disproportionate impact of the coronavirus crisis on the African American community.

Of course there will be plenty of ongoing speculation about whether Joe Biden is picking Kamala Harris as his running mate, though there’s no indication that Biden will be making an announcement tomorrow. We don’t expect CNN and MNSBC to air the town hall event, but you can watch it live online here. You can also sign up to ask a question here.
