Andrew Cuomo just put the spotlight on a true hero
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has been doing a hero’s job of leading New York State and New York City through the coronavirus crisis. His daily press briefings have been informative and inspirational. He’s also found ways to work around Donald Trump’s total failure to lead. Now Cuomo is highlighting a true hero – and it’s someone far away from New York.
Governor Cuomo received this letter from an elderly Kansas couple who decided to donate one of their few N95 masks to a New York doctor or nurse:
I received this letter from a farmer in northeast Kansas. His wife is ill and he is aging.
He sent me 1 of 5 N95 masks he has from farming to pass on to a doctor or nurse in New York.
