Eric Swalwell comes out swinging
Donald Trump continues to try to find ways to give the false appearance that he’s providing leadership during the coronavirus crisis, while not doing actually doing anything. That helps explain why his approval numbers keep dropping, as most people can see right through this.
Democratic Congressman Eric Swalwell is calling out Donald Trump on his cowardly unwillingness to go out among the public:
So @realDonaldTrump calls himself a “wartime president.” Well, every “wartime president” visited the front lines of a battlefield. Why can’t Trump visit a hospital and thank nurses? Or root on a shift change at a grocery store? Visit a gravesite? Why not? It’s always about him.
