Donald Trump is now claiming he’s “never heard” of the high ranking HHS official he demoted yesterday. He thinks these kinds of answers are clever. In reality he just made the HHS official’s whistleblower complaint a bigger scandal for himself.

It’s the latest reminder that Trump has no idea what he’s doing. He’s done absolutely nothing to get where he is. He ran a weak campaign and only got into office because of Comey’s letter. He’s spent three years squandering the opportunity, leaving him with terrible reelection prospects. Stop painting him as an evil genius. He’s an idiot.

If you start thinking of Trump as an evil genius who can pull off anything he wants, then you’ll start thinking you can’t beat him, so you’ll start thinking no reason to even try. In reality he’s a confused clown who fell into this job, and now he’s falling to pieces. If you work hard to get Joe Biden elected, then the idiot Trump will go down. It’s that simple.
