Everyone piles on after Ted Cruz goes completely off the deep end

Dear Palmer Report readers,

We all understand what a dark era we're heading into. Journalists will be prosecuted. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. Advertising networks can't be counted on. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight, because someone has to.

In that regard we're looking to start funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens or how dark things get. We've launched a reader supported fund, and we've already raised $2097 and counting. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can contribute here. Thank you in advance.
Sincerely,
Bill Palmer
Palmer Report

2020 has been a difficult, bizarre, and trying year for a number of obvious reasons. When the news broke on Monday night that North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un was reportedly near death, the surreal story seemed par for the course. It was also apparently the final straw that sent wacky weirdo Ted Cruz completely over the edge.

At right around midnight, Ted Cruz โ€“ who’s supposed to be a Senator โ€“ decided to tweet this completely incoherent joke: “Just wait till RBG is named the new leader of North Korea.” We know that RBG is in reference to Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, but Cruz didn’t even bother trying to explain why he thinks it’s funny to suggest that she’d be a fit for leader of North Korea.

Suffice it to say that, as has been the case for every minute of Ted Cruz’s life, no one was impressed with him. One Twitter user responded “Why are all Republican pervs so excruciatingly unfunny?” Another was more direct: “what the f— is wrong with you?! why would you ever say such a stupid horrible thing?”

Again, this man is supposed to be a United States Senator. Instead he’s too busy being Ted Cruz. We can’t vote this idiot out in November, but we can certainly vote out his compatriots Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell โ€“ leaving Cruz powerless, so we can just ignore him until he finally takes a hint and goes away.
