Donald Trump completely falls to pieces when asked about his supposed coronavirus test

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump held yet another late afternoon press conference today, in an apparent attempt at preventing the stock market slide. To give you an idea of how horribly it went for him, the Dow Jones was down around two thousand points when he began speaking, and it finished down around three thousand points. Trump couldn’t satisfactorily answer to even basic questions today, including one about his own supposed coronavirus test.

The White House announced this weekend that Donald Trump had tested negative for coronavirus, just hours after Trump’s doctor released a statement saying that he wasn’t going to be tested. No one actually believes that Trump tested negative, or that he was even tested. When he was asked about it today, Trump made things even worse for himself by offering this completely incoherent answer:

“Not, not uh, something I want to do everyday. You know, it’s a little bit of uh, it’s a little bit of, good doctors in the White House, but it’s a test. It’s a test. It’s a medical test, nothing pleasant about it.”

That doesn’t sound like someone who’s describing an actual medical test that he took. That sounds like someone trying to describe a test when he doesn’t know how it works because he hasn’t actually taken it. Donald Trump just keeps digging himself an even bigger hole.
