Donald Trump’s idiocy sends America plummeting into a bear market

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

The existence of the coronavirus isn’t Donald Trump’s fault, but his botched handling of it is entirely his fault. More Americans will die than necessary. In addition, more damage will be done to the U.S. economy than necessary. Investors know it too, as they’re now fleeing the stock market in dramatic fashion.

Yesterday’s stock market rebound turns out to have been a mere pipe dream, as the Dow Jones dropped today by another 1484 points. This latest plunge puts the market down twenty percent off its high, which means we’re officially in a bear market.

So what’s Trump going to do about it? He’s addressing the nation from the Oval Office at 9pm eastern time tonight, but there’s no reason for his address to instill any confidence in anyone.

Donald Trump is drowning. His presidency is over. If he had any sense he’d make up an excuse and resign now, before he does any more harm to America and to himself.
