Donald Trump has late night meltdown about his coronavirus test

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump is facing an economic crisis he can’t fix, and a coronavirus crisis he can’t manage, and now it turns out he himself might have the coronavirus. Several of his buddies are now quarantined after having been exposed to the disease at the CPAC conference.

Even though Trump has been potentially exposed to it by them, he’s refusing to quarantine himself. He also refused during his press conference yesterday to even answer the question of whether he’s been tested for the coronavirus. Then late last night he and his handlers decided it was a good idea to make sure everyone knows he wasn’t willing to say whether he was tested.

Trump posted this bizarre tweet, insisting that the media coverage of his press conference was “Fake News”:

For reference, Donald Trump was objecting to tabloid publication the Daily Mail’s headline “Trump REFUSES to say if he has been tested for coronavirus and storms out of White House briefing on crisis.” We would agree that Trump didn’t “storm” out of the press conference. It’s more like he lumbered out of it. But he did refuse to answer the question. Late on Monday night, MSNBC reported that Trump has in fact not been tested. This guy was already dangerous enough. Now he’s a potential petri dish.
