This is wackadoodle, even for Donald Trump

Dear Palmer Report readers,

We all understand what a dark era we're heading into. Journalists will be prosecuted. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. Advertising networks can't be counted on. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight, because someone has to.

In that regard we're looking to start funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens or how dark things get. We've launched a reader supported fund, and we've already raised $3360 and counting. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can contribute here. Thank you in advance.
Sincerely,
Bill Palmer

Nothing is going right for Donald Trump at the moment. The stock market lost 15% of its value last week. His joke of an administration is botching the coronavirus response. Joe Biden, the Democrat with the best chance of beating him in November, is surging. So where is Trump’s head right now? Well, that’s difficult to put into words.

Late last night Donald Trump retweeted one of the more bizarre videos we’ve seen. Not only that, the video is completely delusional – and parts of it feel like they’re making fun of him. The video starts off congratulating Trump for the stock market reaching a new high. Then it overlays the audio of Trump saying he’s going to “bomb the shit” out of someone. From there it just gets even weirder. We sort of recommend you don’t watch the video, but if you must here, it is:

So the question is whether Donald Trump is now randomly retweeting wackadoodle video without even watching them, or if he watched this video and he thinks it somehow makes him look good. Either way, he’s lost in a haze of confusion and delusion, it’s difficult to imagine he’s functioning on even a basic level right now.
