Lindsey Graham is having the worst day ever

Dear Palmer Report readers,

We all understand what a dark era we're heading into. Journalists will be prosecuted. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. Advertising networks can't be counted on. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight, because someone has to.

In that regard we're looking to start funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens or how dark things get. We've launched a reader supported fund, and we've already raised $3360 and counting. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can contribute here. Thank you in advance.
Sincerely,
Bill Palmer

Joe Biden’s thirty point blowout victory in South Carolina is obviously bad news for all of his primary opponents. It’s also bad news for Donald Trump, because Biden has a far better chance than Bernie Sanders of beating Trump in November. But someone else is having an even worse go of it right now, and his name is Lindsey Graham.

Last night we didn’t just see Joe Biden dominate in South Carolina. We saw massive turnout in the state, with Democratic voters coming out of the woodwork to vote for Biden, in larger numbers than anyone could ever have imagined. If Biden ends up being the nominee, he’ll draw huge turnout in South Carolina again in November.

While no Democratic presidential candidate can win South Carolina, massive Democratic turnout in the state can propel Democratic Senate candidate Jaime Harrison to victory over his Republican opponent Lindsey Graham. Harrison has been running an inspiring campaign in his own right. Recent polling suggests that the race between Harrison and Graham is close or tied, which is remarkable in a red state. If Biden is the nominee, he should drive sufficient turnout in South Carolina to put Harrison over the top. That would mean the end of Lindsey Graham’s career.

Jaime Harrison posted this tweet last night:
