Mike Bloomberg just blew it

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Mike Bloomberg would make a far better president than Donald Trump. For that matter, a bag of fire ants would make a better president than Donald Trump. Once we have a Democratic Party nominee, we should all support that nominee. In the meantime, there are serious questions about whether Bloomberg should be the nominee. We’ve all seen his scandals on display at the last debate. Now he’s facing another problem: tone-deafness.

An unknown entity has been defacing Mike Bloomberg’s campaign offices across the nation. This is a serious problem. In fact it’s a crime. Whoever is doing it should be arrested, and whichever candidate they support should disavow it. Bloomberg has a right to complain about it. But his campaign tweeted this image today, which appears to paint him as the real victim in Flint, Michigan:

If Mike Bloomberg were being savvy about this, he’d have a sign on the front window of his Flint office that said “Vote for me and I’ll immediately fix the water.” In fact, with his money, he could go fix the water right now. That would be far smarter than seeking sympathy on Twitter because someone in Flint taped a sign to his window.
