Donald Trump doubled down on Lou Dobbs and it immediately blew up in his face

Dear Palmer Report readers,

We all understand what a dark era we're heading into. Journalists will be prosecuted. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. Advertising networks can't be counted on. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight, because someone has to.

In that regard we're looking to start funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens or how dark things get. We've launched a reader supported fund, and we've already raised $3360 and counting. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can contribute here. Thank you in advance.
Sincerely,
Bill Palmer

If there’s one guy on television who shouldn’t be on television, it just might be Lou Dobbs. He used to be on CNN, but then he kept saying racist things about immigrants, and so now he’s on Fox News. Naturally, Dobbs loves Donald Trump, and Trump loves Dobbs. It’s the perfect match made in hell. For some reason, Trump has decided that Dobbs is now some kind of spokesperson for black people.

Suffice it to say that no one is particularly impressed with this premise. The internet rather quickly destroyed Donald Trump accordingly:

As a reminder, Lou Dobbs blocked Palmer Report on Twitter a long time ago. He never said why, but it’s probably not that hard to figure out.
