Donald Trump didn’t use his Super Bowl pregame interview to brag about how he’s been exonerated, or to push anything he might be able to build on. Instead he used it to whine about how he’s been impeached. This isn’t a guy who’s focused on finding a winning 2020 strategy. He’s focused on the damage that impeachment has done to his 2020 chances, and he’s worried now that his Ukraine cheating scheme has failed, he’s not sure what to do next.

Trump did run a Super Bowl ad. He thinks he’s being clever with his misleading Alice Johnson narrative. But the reality is he’s polling within the margin of error of zero with black voters. No amount of propaganda will change that. Also, when you’re falsely taking credit for Kim Kardashian’s accomplishments, you need to get a life.

Mr. Clean and the Kool-Aid Man attending a fake funeral for a not really dead Mr. Peanut is one of the most bizarre things I’ve ever seen. But not as bizarre as Donald Trump trying to speak in complete sentences.

Mike Bloomberg has managed to bait Donald Trump into directly feuding with him. Good. Bloomberg isn’t going to be the nominee, and he seems to know it. When you send out your campaign advisers to mock Trump over his weight, you’re not really trying to win, are you? Democrats can never get away with that stuff; only Republicans can. But Bloomberg is succeeding in distracting Trump from attacking the actual viable candidates – which is a good thing.
