Lev Parnas reveals he has “hard evidence” against Donald Trump
Donald Trump currently has a number of problems, not the least of which is that he’s being impeached over a criminal scandal, and several officials from his own administration have just publicly testified to his guilt. Now Trump has another problem, in the form of an increasingly vocal Lev Parnas.
Earlier this month Lev Parnas ditched his Trump-affiliated attorney. His new attorney then announced that Parnas was going to fully cooperate with the House impeachment inquiry. Nothing further has publicly surfaced on this front; if the House is negotiating with Parnas, then it’s doing so in secret. But now Parnas, through his attorney, is beginning to address what he has on Donald Trump.
After someone on Twitter asked if Lev Parnas might be too afraid of the “Russian mob” to testify, Parnas’ attorney Joseph A. Bondy tweeted this in response: ” Lev grew up in Brooklyn, has no criminal record or Russian Mob ties, and is a proud American citizen. He’s not afraid of #POTUS or polonium, hopes to testify under oath—unlike #RudyGiuliani—and to be subjected to cross-examination under penalties of perjury.”
Bondy then added: “the evidence of #POTUS knowingly interacting with [Parnas] is beyond cavil, and he has hard—HARD—first-hand evidence.” This is a big deal. Lev Parnas is apparently sitting on documents or recordings or some other form of physical evidence that proves his story, meaning no one will have to take his word for it. Now we wait for news about what Parnas and his attorney may have cooking behind the scenes with the SDNY and/or the House impeachment inquiry.
