Colonel Vindman’s testimony is even more devastating to Donald Trump than we thought

Dear Palmer Report readers,

We all understand what a dark era we're heading into. Journalists will be prosecuted. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. Advertising networks can't be counted on. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight, because someone has to.

In that regard we're looking to start funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens or how dark things get. We've launched a reader supported fund, and we've already raised $3360 and counting. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can contribute here. Thank you in advance.
Sincerely,
Bill Palmer

Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman is still testifying behind closed doors to the House impeachment inquiry about the crimes he witnessed Donald Trump committing. We’ve seen Trump, his lawyer Rudy Giuliani, and his allies like Laura Ingraham go to extraordinarily deranged lengths to try to smear Vindman, suggesting that they know Vindman’s testimony is awful for Trump. Turns out it’s even worse than we thought.

House Democrats who attended Colonel Vindman’s testimony have been tight lipped about the details, but Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney – currently the Acting House Oversight Committee Chair – told NBC News that it was “extremely, extremely, extremely disturbing.” Maloney is a straight shooter, so we have to assume that what she heard today about Donald Trump’s actions really was just that disturbing.

What stands out is that Vindman isn’t just corroborating the testimony of the several State Department witnesses who have already testified, he’s going even further. Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz said that Vindman’s testimony has “filled in more of the puzzle pieces” when it comes to Donald Trump’s Ukraine antics.

This comes amid reports that Colonel Vindman testified that the publicly released summary of Donald Trump’s Ukraine phone call was sanitized in order to make it less damning to Trump.
