Donald Trump makes surprise appearance on the Sean Hannity show and goes completely bonkers

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Last night we pointed out that, based on the rumblings coming from within the White House, it sounded like Donald Trump might be preparing to bypass his remaining surrogates and take his message into his own hands. Earlier this evening we warned you that Trump was about to make a preciously unannounced appearance on the Sean Hannity show. Sure enough, the interview went about as bonkers as one might have expected.

The trouble for Donald Trump is that he needs an adult in the room to try to steer him back from his phony conspiracy theories and deranged fantasies, and with Hannity, he had the precise opposite. Hannity simply let Trump spew whatever craziness he wanted to spew, and in fact egged Trump on.

So we’re not surprised that, just a few days after the Trump State Department quietly admitted that there never was any Hillary Clinton email scandal, Donald Trump is now announcing that he’s going to have Attorney General Bill Barr investigate Hillary’s supposed ties to Ukraine (hint: there aren’t any). These things only ever exist in Trump’s head, and even his own administration can never seem to come up with anything to support his fantasies.

We were a bit surprised to hear Donald Trump assert during his Hannity appearance that the Ukraine whistleblower’s sources don’t exist, after Trump claimed during his cabinet meeting today that the whistleblower’s source is Adam Schiff. We think Trump just tried to prove that Adam Schiff doesn’t exist, or something like that. Trump is more unhinged than ever, at a time when his deteriorating behavior is only helping to speed up his own ouster.
