Donald Trump goes completely berserk after someone finally tries to get him to pay his bills
As Donald Trump continues to look for someone to blame his dying presidency and eventual prison sentence on, his latest target is Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey. Trump has spent the day posting one increasingly unhinged and deranged tweet about Frey after another. So what did the guy to do offend Trump? It turns out he committed the sin of trying to get Trump to pay his bills for once.
Here’s what Donald Trump has been tweeting about Jacob Frey: “Someone please tell the Radical Left Mayor of Minneapolis that he can’t price out Free Speech. Probably illegal! … Radical Left Dem Mayor of Minneapolis, Jacob Frey, is doing everything possible to stifle Free Speech despite a record sell-out crowd at the Target Center.”
But back in the real world, what actually happened here is that Mayor Frey asked the Trump campaign to pay for the rally expenses up front. Trump and his campaign have a consistent bad habit of holding rallies, running up a tab with the local government, and then simply never paying it. In so doing, he’s screwing over the cities involved, and he’s giving the finger to the police officers who have to work at his violent hate rallies. Now that someone is trying to force Trump to pay his bills, he’s going berserk about it.
Of course Donald Trump has spent his entire life not paying his bills. He stiffs his contractors. He strategically uses corporate bankruptcies to stiff his investors. He even tried to avoid paying back Michael Cohen, after Cohen took out a second mortgage to pay off Stormy Daniels on Trump’s behalf.
