“President” Donald J. Trump on Monday announced that he was pulling United States troops from northern Syria, and announced that he was considering withdrawing from the Open Skies Treaty, which allows the United States and its allies to monitor Russia’s military and keep it in check. These acts took place on October 7, which is the birthday of Trump’s puppet master, Vladimir Putin. Perhaps Putin wanted to get his final birthday gifts from Trump and is finished with Trump.

In 1962, Marilyn Monroe came on stage at a birthday party for President John F. Kennedy for his 45th birthday. Marilyn sang in her sultry voice the song, “Happy Birthday to You” and inserted the words “Mr. President” for his name. JFK came on stage and said he could now retire from politics.

We don’t know what birthday song that Trump used when he sang to his boss, Putin, on the occasion of Putin’s 67th birthday. But what we can imagine and do know is that what Trump gave Putin in his recent actions, and has been striving for, is dominance and free reign in the region.

From trying to get Russia back into the G-7, to his approach with Putin on NATO, and now his plans to leave the Kurds vulnerable and leave the Open Skies Treaty, Trump is showing his cards, and we don’t need a transcript of the calls to know that Trump has been singing sweet nothings to his idol, Vladimir, and selling the United States out.
