Donald Trump just got some really ugly news about his impeachment

Donald Trump has been having a bad evening, a bad day, a bad week. We know this not only because the news just keeps getting worse for him, but also because he becomes more frantic every time he opens his mouth. He seems to fear that the end is near for him – and it turns out he may be right.

From the very start of Donald Trump’s illegitimate presidency, Palmer Report has consistently said that he’ll be ousted before his term if and only if his polls become so bad, the Republicans in Congress conclude they have no choice but to selfishly throw him out in the name of protecting their own chances of reelection. Well guess what?

In the past week we’ve seen Donald Trump’s whistleblower scandal explode for him at a remarkably swift pace. When Nancy Pelosi announced impeachment, it caused Trump to panic and release a pair of documents that overwhelmingly incriminate him. That in turn led to the exposure of his secret server full of additional incriminating evidence, and the revelation that he told the Russians in 2017 that he was in favor of election interference.

Because this scandal is unfolding quickly, and the whole thing is so easily understandable, and he’s been caught so red-handed, it’s quickly shifted the nation’s mood. Just a week ago, the polls had support for impeachment in the range of forty percent. But over the past week, one new poll after another has shown huge growth in pro-impeachment numbers. The new CBS News poll says that 55% of Americans now support the impeachment inquiry, and while that’s slightly higher than the other polls, it helps confirm that a majority of people now want him gone.
