Donald Trump completely loses it, begins talking about killing the people who exposed his whistleblower scandal

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump is in the process of being impeached, and the nation is now asking itself whether his removal from office is warranted. So one would think that Trump would be – if not necessarily on his best behavior – then at least trying to act like a person who should be allowed to remain in office.

Instead, with his Ukraine whistleblower scandal getting worse by the hour, Donald Trump is talking about getting revenge on the people who are bringing him down. Violent revenge, in fact. Trump gave a speech to the United Nations on Thursday in which he began complaining about whoever in his regime provided information about him to the whistleblower. According to the New York Times and other news outlets, including some of which who have posted the actual audio of Trump’s remarks, he threatened to have these people killed. No, really.

Here’s what Trump said about the person or people who exposed his antics to the whistleblower: “That’s close to a spy. You know what we used to do in the old days when we were smart, right? The spies, the treason, we used to handle it a little differently than we do now.” Considering Trump’s references to treason and espionage, Trump is unmistakably talking about having these people killed.

There really are no words for this. Donald Trump will claim he was merely joking. But in this context, you don’t get to joke about killing people for having exposed your criminal behavior. Nor does the President of the United States ever get to talk like this, because he’s using the office to incite violence against one or more innocent Americans. It’s not clear if Trump has decided he wants this over with and is now trying to force his own impeachment and removal, or if he’s just completely snapped.
