Donald Trump hits the panic button as his whistleblower scandal explodes

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. Just how quickly is Donald Trump’s Ukraine whistleblower scandal blowing up in his face, and just how ugly is it getting for him? This evening, Trump took the extraordinary step of flat out confessing that he (criminally) asked the president Ukraine to launch a (phony) investigation into a (fake) Joe Biden scandal, in a very real attempt at rigging the 2020 presidential election. Now he’s taking things even further.

It’s not enough that Donald Trump is now confessing to committing one of the ugliest felonies against the United States that has ever been committed, while insisting that he had a right to commit this crime. He’s now asserting… well, whatever this is supposed to mean:

Now the Fake News Media says I “pressured the Ukrainian President at least 8 times during my telephone call with him.” This supposedly comes from a so-called “whistleblower” who they say doesn’t even have a first hand account of what was said. More Democrat/Crooked Media con.

This is a pure panic drill on Donald Trump’s part. His defense now comes down to making unsourced innuend (“they say”) aimed at minimizing the legitimacy of the whistleblower complaint. Nice try, considering the Inspector General already ruled that the complaint is legitimate and urgent. Trump is signaling that he thinks the complaint will surface very soon, and that his criminal words will be publicly exposed. He’s already resorting to making things up about the person who caught him in the act of committing treason.
