Donald Trump just had a psychotic meltdown about the Ukraine whistleblower
Donald Trump is very sad to learn that his treasonous attempt at conspiring with a foreign nation to create a fake Joe Biden scandal has not resulted in a scandal for Joe Biden, but has instead resulted in a scandal for Trump himself. He’s letting us know it too, as he melts down in a fashion that’s over the top even by his usual histrionic standards.
Trump started ramping up by quoting a far-right conspiracy loon who insisted that President Obama and Hillary Clinton are somehow behind all of this. That’s right, in Trump’s mind, Obama and Hillary made him pick up the phone and make a criminal proposition to the president of Ukraine. Trump is grasping at straws that thin. But then he got to the real meat of his gripe, as he posted this quote from a Fox News stooge whose name we won’t even mention:
It appears that an American spy in one of our intelligence agencies may have been spying on our own president. The complaint suggests that this intel agent was listening in on Trump’s conversation with a foreign leader. Was this person officially asked to listen to the conversation or was he or she secretly listening in?
That’s right. Donald Trump is now falsely accusing the whistleblower of of “spying” on him, even though every sane person knows that this wasn’t the case. This is even more psychotic than when Trump falsely claimed that Obama had somehow wiretapped Trump Tower. It’s clear that Trump is scared to death of this whistleblower, to the point of committing a whole new felony by falsely accusing the whistleblower of being a spy. Trump is already headed to prison and he knows it. Now he seems to be trying to make sure that his prison sentence lasts for the rest of his life.
