Donald Trump just made it even worse for himself

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

House Oversight Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings is leading one of the investigations into Donald Trump’s criminal scandals, so naturally, Trump is attacking Cummings in the most vicious way possible. And because Cummings is black, Trump is attacking him in the most racist way possible: by going after his predominantly black hometown of Baltimore.

In a sure sign that Donald Trump has taken things too far, the media is calling his remarks about Baltimore flat out racist, and even most of his allies in Congress are remaining silent instead of trying to defend him on it. Among the voices calling out Trump’s racism, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is front and center. So we all know what Trump decided to do in response.

After Pelosi called Donald Trump a racist, Trump posted this tweet: “Speaking of failing badly, has anyone seen what is happening to Nancy Pelosi’s district in San Francisco. It is not even recognizeable lately. Something must be done before it is too late. The Dems should stop wasting time on the Witch Hunt Hoax and start focusing on our Country!” That’s right, now Donald Trump is also attacking San Francisco.

It’s not that Donald Trump has many supporters in Baltimore or San Francisco to begin with, so it’s not as if he’s costing himself votes in those cities. But by attacking entire major American cities, Trump is handing ammunition to his adversaries who are arguing that he’s the one who hates America. As is increasingly the case these days, Trump is taking his stunts too far for his own good.
