Sarah Huckabee Sanders suffers humiliating White House exit

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

It’s officially over. White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who announced her resignation earlier this month, and who has since already been formally replaced in her role, had her official last day of work today. Suffice it to say that her White House exit was every bit as humiliating as her tenure on the job.

Sarah Sanders made her departure official today by posting a photo of Donald Trump and other White House co-conspirators throwing her a party on her way out the door, along with this tweet: “Today I’ll walk out the gates of the White House for the last time as Press Secretary with my head held high. It’s been the honor and privilege of a lifetime to work with President Donald Trump and his amazing team the last three and a half years. You’re the best…Thank you!”

The tweet didn’t exactly go well. She ended up getting nearly twice as many negative comments as she got likes, with numerous respondents focusing in on the laughable notion that she could have her “head held high” after having spent the past two and a half years telling nonstop lies in the name of furthering the traitorous criminal agenda of a child murderer like Donald Trump.

The kicker came when the phrase “Bye Felicia” began trending on Twitter just as Sarah Huckabee Sanders was making her official exit at the end of the workday. During her time in the Trump White House, Sanders has gone from an obscure nobody to one of the most widely despised and least respected people in America. What a humiliating way to go out.
