Donald Trump launches insane attack on his own FBI Director Christopher Wray
Donald Trump thinks treason is cool, and his own handpicked FBI Director is full of crap. That’s the clear message from Trump’s mentally unstable and profoundly anti-American interview with ABC News, which is so far over the top, we wouldn’t believe it were real if there weren’t video to prove it.
During the ABC interview, Donald Trump decided to go ahead and confess in advance to the felonies he plans to commit in the 2020 election, admitting that if a foreign power illegally offers him help or dirt on his opponent, “I think I’d take it.” That alone is grounds for his immediate removal and imprisonment. But because Trump always feels the need to make things even worse, he went ahead and made things even worse.
During the interview, Donald Trump said “I’ve seen a lot of things over my life. I don’t think in my whole life I’ve ever called the FBI. In my whole life. You don’t call the FBI. You throw somebody out of your office, you do whatever you do … Oh, give me a break – life doesn’t work that way.” Of course what Trump is giving away here is that as a career criminal, he’s never ratted out his fellow criminals to law enforcement as a way of trying to resolve disputes.
ABC’s George Stephanopoulos then pointed out that Donald Trump’s own FBI Director Christopher Wray has publicly stated that any campaign being offered foreign help should call the FBI. Trump responded by saying that “The FBI Director is wrong, because frankly it doesn’t happen like that in life.” That’s right, Trump is picking a public feud with his own FBI Director over the question of whether Trump should report a crime against the United States when he encounters one. This can’t end well for Trump or Wray.
