Fox News host Lou Dobbs goes off the deep end

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Following the public testimony of Donald Trump’s previous fixer, Michael Cohen, prominent Trump supporters have apparently decided to go all-in on the deception in an effort to push lies and defend traitors. This was most easily demonstrated by the public statements by Fox News contributors Sean Hannity and Lou Dobbs on Thursday night.

On the floor of the Senate, Republican Lamar Alexander fought back against Trump’s illegal money and power grab for his wall, stating, “There has never been an instance where a president of the United States has asked for funding, Congress has refused it, and the president has then used the National Emergency Act to justify spending the money anyway.”

This declaration did not sit well with Lou Dobbs. On his show, Dobbs responded by calling Senator Alexander a RINO – Republican In Name Only – saying, “The Senator is so chickenhearted that he would try to cravenly claim to support president Trump on border security while he votes against the president’s national emergency declaration. Contemptible. Absolutely contemptible.” Lou Dobbs is clearly pissed!

While it’s easy to poke holes in everything Lou Dobbs says, the real question remains: why do so many individuals continue to obtain their “facts” from sources that intentionally spew false information and straight up lies? While this dilemma will likely continue into the foreseeable future, the most important takeaway is that not everyone buys into the lies, and we must always protect the truth.
