Donald Trump goes off the deep end about Alec Baldwin

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump is facing an imminent court battle over his faux-national emergency, heightening investigations into his criminal scandals, and the reality that he’s more likely to be in prison by 2020 than be in position to seek reelection. So what’s Trump putting his focus into? Naturally, Alec Baldwin.

Alec Baldwin returned to Saturday Night Live last night to lampoon Donald Trump’s increasingly absurd behavior. No one would expect Trump to like Baldwin’s savage send-up. But Trump seems to think he can find a way to prevent Baldwin from doing it at all – namely, by accusing him of collusion. No, really.

Trump posted this bizarre tweet this morning: “Nothing funny about tired Saturday Night Live on Fake News NBC! Question is, how do the Networks get away with these total Republican hit jobs without retribution? Likewise for many other shows? Very unfair and should be looked into. This is the real Collusion!” Then he added “THE RIGGED AND CORRUPT MEDIA IS THE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE!”

We’re pretty sure Donald Trump just accused Alec Baldwin of collusion, and accused the First Amendment of being the enemy of the people, or something like that. It’s unclear what kind of “retribution” Trump is seeking against Baldwin, beyond tweeting mean things about him.
