Trump administration posts list of terror attacks, misspells U.S. city, repeatedly misspells “attackers”
Just how willing is this White House to push misleading information to try to back up Donald Trump’s random false claims? And just how little oversight is there in this shell of a White House, where it appears Trump is using little more than a skeleton crew of incompetent people he personally trusts to be loyal to him? Those answers may have come all at once, when the Trump administration posted a list of terrorist attacks around the world which it falsely claimed were underreported – and which it went out of its way to bizarrely misspell.
Take a look at this segment of the list the Donald Trump administration released of seventy-eight terrorist attacks which it claims were underreported by the media:
It’s difficult to know where to start with what all is wrong with the above. For one thing, the attacks in Paris and San Bernardino were heavily covered by the media, and to claim otherwise is to lie. Also, that’s not how you spell “San Bernardino.” For that matter, that’s not how you “attacker” or “attackers” either. What the hell is an “attaker” is supposed to be?

This isn’t funny, of course. Donald Trump made up the random lie on Twitter that terrorist attacks are happening left and right and the media is covering them up, as a way of trying to justify his Muslim ban and lashing out at the judges who have ruled it to be unconstitutional. And now Trump’s sycophants in the White House have responded not by walking back his false claim, but by doubling down on them in dishonest and embarrassingly sloppy fashion.
We’ve now reached the point where the Trump White House is claiming that if you remember seeing hours upon hours of coverage of the attacks in Paris and San Bernardino on CNN, you must have simply imagined it. Then again, this is the same Trump White House that celebrates Breitbart but falsely claims CNN is fake news. You can find the full embarrassingly misspelled and misrepresented list of terror attacks here.
