Everyone piles on after Donald Trump posts idiotic fake poster of himself

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

This afternoon President Obama gave a Florida rally speech in support of Democratic candidates that was so profound, even Fox News was airing it live by the end. In contrast, Donald Trump’s rally speeches rarely get any television airtime these days, except for when his stupidest remarks are lampooned. So Trump has settled on a different tack, centered around promoting himself through an idiotic fake poster of himself. It didn’t go well.

In his latest attempt at “Hey look over there, a squirrel,” Donald Trump is suddenly trying to pick a new fight with Iran, even though Iran has made clear that it has no desire to ne involved in such a fight. Trump is hitting Iran with new sanctions, which will merely drive Iran to do more business with the numerous U.S. allies who are refusing to go along with Trump’s stunt. But that isn’t stopping Trump from being proud of his idiocy, and in fact he tweeted this fake Game of Thrones inspired poster of himself:

Suffice it to say that the responses on Twitter were less than charitable. Replies ranged from “Please resign, mushroom dick” to “Winter Is Coming refers to White Walkers. Does Trump really want this comparison? He really doesn’t think things through too well, does he?” Multiple people also created their own posters with captions like “Mueller is coming.”
