The FBI has just arrested a man at an auto parts store in Plantation, Florida, who is a suspect in the recent bombs sent to several prominent Democratic politicians, according to several major news outlets. The FBI is also seizing the suspect’s white van, which has been spotted by helicopter cameras. The windows of the van are plastered with pro-Trump bumper stickers, and even a Donald Trump presidential seal.

The FBI ended up covering the van with a blue tarp, but not before news cameras spotted the pro-Trump propaganda all over it. There are a few major caveats here. First, just because the person has been arrested, it doesn’t mean the person is guilty. Second, there’s at least a theoretical chance that the pro-Trump stickers could be some kind of ruse. That said, the current scene gives the strong appearance that a rabid Trump supporter sent these bombs.

This comes shortly after Donald Trump tweeted “Republicans are doing so well in early voting, and at the polls, and now this “Bomb” stuff happens and the momentum greatly slows – news not talking politics,” putting the word “bomb” in quotation marks, seemingly implying that these bombs weren’t real, or that the whole thing was a hoax.

Law enforcement says it’s holding a press conference at 2:30pm eastern time today to discuss the arrest. In the meantime, Donald Trump has a pre-scheduled press event just a few moments from now, and it’s unclear what he might have to say about these developments.
