Sarah Huckabee Sanders attacks CNN after someone tries to blow up CNN headquarters

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Someone tried to assassinate several prominent Democrats today, including the Obamas and the Clintons, by sending bombs to their homes. Someone also tried to blow up CNN headquarters in New York City, under the mistaken belief former CIA Director John Brennan worked there as an analyst. Suffice it to say that this set off a series of events in which White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders ended up attacking CNN.

After the attempted bombing and resulting evacuation, which sent CNN’s operations into chaos for the day, CNN President Jeff Zucker released this official statement: “There is a total and complete lack of understanding at the White House about the seriousness of their continued attacks on the media. The President, and especially the White House Press Secretary [Sarah Huckabee Sanders], should understand their words matter. Thus far, they have shown no comprehension of that.โ€

This prompted Sarah Huckabee Sanders to post this response to CNN and Zucker: “Donald Trump asked Americans ‘to come together and send one very clear, strong, unmistakable message that acts or threats of political violence of any kind have no place in the USA’ Yet you chose to attack and divide. America should unite against all political violence.” That’s right, Sarah Huckabee Sanders thinks it’s CNN’s fault โ€“ and not Donald Trump’s fault โ€“ that someone tried to blow up CNN headquarters today.
