Harvard dumps Brett Kavanaugh’s faculty web page

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

As Brett Kavanaugh continues to circle the drain, it appears that Harvard University has decided to flush him entirely. Kavanaugh has found himself in a unique situation where his odds of ending up on the Supreme Court are probably no better than his odds of ending up in prison. Even as the FBI continues to dig into his life and the felony accusations against him continue to mount, his page on the Harvard faculty website has suddenly gone poof.

Brett Kavanaugh was supposed to be teaching a Harvard class in January, but not surprisingly, that’s become a matter of controversy now that multiple women have come forward to accuse him of sexual assault. Since last week, Harvard has been trying to figure out what to do about it, but tonight a decision has been made.

According to the Huffington Post, Harvard sent out this email to students tonight: “Today, Judge Kavanaugh indicated that he can no longer commit to teaching his course in January Term 2019, so the course will not be offered.” That’s an overly diplomatic way of shoving him out the back door, of course. But the telling thing here is the other move that Harvard made: it removed Kavanaugh’s page on the faculty website. This isn’t something you do when a guest lecturer can’t commit to showing up for one semester. It’s a move you make to disassociate yourself from the person entirely.

This comes as things continue to get uglier for Brett Kavanaugh as the night goes on. Donald Trump has finally been forced to expand the FBI investigation into the sexual assault accusations, even as Kavanaugh has been caught meddling with the witnesses involved the accusations made by Deborah Ramirez.
