What Bruce Ohr really knows about Donald Trump

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

As Donald Trump’s attacks on America’s Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation intensify, it is imperative to understand why he is doing this. It is not a new strategy for criminals to direct false claims against organizations or individuals who could easily prove their misdeeds. Donald Trump has led a life of crime, and he could have likely avoided serious criminal prosecution, but he made a mistake when he decided to sell out America and run for president.

With Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation getting closer by the day to Donald Trump’s treason, Trump’s desperation has reached unprecedented levels. Many intelligence agents spoke out against Trump revoking the security clearance of former CIA Director John Brennan last month. Many considered this move a sign of desperation and a blatant abuse of power to silence Trump’s critics.

Following the announcement that Trump was stripping Brennan of his security clearance, the White House made a statement warning of additional possible revocations to come. Included in the list were former FBI Director James Comey, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former National Security Agency Director Michael Hayden, and Bruce Ohr, who is still in the Justice Department. While most of the names announced are likely known, the name Bruce Ohr is not as commonly mentioned, unless you are a frequent observer of the Sean Hannity Show on Fox News. One might ask – for what reason would that name be brought up so much? It turns out that Occam’s razor, the principle that the simplest solution is indeed true, is likely the reason for Trump’s disdain of Ohr.

For a man who has lived a life of a multitude of crimes, it is only natural that he would do everything in his power to distance himself from those who most understand how those crimes work. Based on this, it would surprise nobody to find out that Ohr has spent his entire career going after Russian organized crime.

Due to Ohr’s proclivity toward investigations into Russian interference, the Russians “have upended Mr. Ohr’s once relatively anonymous life, dragging him into the maelstrom of the Russia investigation.” There is no reason for Trump to attack Ohr, other than his imminent fear of being discovered as a Russian asset. As Mueller’s investigation gets closer to Trump, we can only expect an increased assault on Ohr’s reputation. It is important to remember that the most vulnerable generally attack those closest to the truth.
