Donald Trump stops in middle of hurricane prep to go berserk about President Obama

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Earlier, Palmer Report brought you the story of how, even though it took a couple days, President Obama has managed to get fully inside Donald Trump’s head – and that Trump has reached a point where he’s ranting about Obama in recklessly obsessive fashion. Now, even as Trump tries to put on a good show and pretend that he cares about Hurricane Florence, he’s stopped in the middle of it to go off the deep end about Obama.

Donald Trump is under intense scrutiny when it comes to Hurricane Florence preparations, after he lazily and ignorantly blew off Puerto Rico in the aftermath of its hurricane disaster last year. This evening Trump posted three tweets in a row in order to show that he was focused on hurricane prep, including documentation of his phone calls with the Governors of the affected states, and a series of weird photos of him looking at hurricane maps in the Oval Office. Then he couldn’t help himself.

Just fourteen minutes after posting a tweet in which he claimed to have been working the phones with Governors, Donald Trump posted an infantile video. It started off with President Obama making accurate claims about Trump with silly music superimposed onto it, and then it moved on to Fox News and CNBC talking heads falsely claiming that Trump has succeeded. Stunningly, one of the CNBC talking heads is Larry Kudlow, who has since become Trump’s top White House economic adviser.

In any case, even as Donald Trump keeps insisting that he’s taking Hurricane Florence seriously, this video revealed where his real focus is. Even with American lives potentially on the line in at least three states, Trump still thinks this is all about him and his clinical obsession with President Obama. This tweet alone should be grounds for his removal via the 25th Amendment.
