Rudy Giuliani and Jay Sekulow give away that something big is about to break in the Trump-Russia scandal

Sean Hannity, aka the third (of three) legal clients of Fixer Extraordinaire Michael Cohen, was off on Friday. Taking his place for three hours on Hannity’s radio show was none other than the legal brain trust of Donald J. Trump in his fight against the Russia investigation, Rudy Giuliani and Jay Sekulow.

Former Federal Prosecutor Mimi Rocah, who worked in the Southern District of New York, suggested on MSNBC later that Giuliani may have crossed the line and violated the Rules of Professional Conduct that lawyers must abide. (Rocah did not state the same about Sekulow.) Rocah noted: “I think Giuliani has been skirting the line, and, in my opinion, has now gone over the line in violating the rules of professional conduct as a lawyer.”

Giuliani, as Palmer Report often reports, is pushing a political view of the matter and appears to be skirting the rules often. But today on the radio show, Sekulow and Giuliani (who purportedly are “negotiating” that interview that Trump “really wants to give”) spent three hours with what has become a normal repertoire of nonsense. At one point, Sekulow stated, “The depth of corruption that led to this investigation and that frankly continues to permeate this investigation is unprecedented…” No real context to what he was talking about.

Topics included Hillary Clinton, James Comey, Barack Obama, and how an independent counsel should be appointed to indict all of them. The main problem with these two appearing on radio like this and answering callers and talking this stuff is that they potentially poison the public who might be jurors.
Something bad appears to be ready to pop in the ongoing investigation, given how the lawyers for Trump are trying to condition the public and given how their irrational boss, Trump, has been tweeting manically all-day Friday, on the attack against some of his regular favorite targets. We might learn in the days ahead what shoe is dropping next.
