Donald Trump’s White House is collapsing in real time

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

“Interested in a job at the White House?” Donald Trump’s failing administration has gotten so desperate to fill the ever increasing number of empty positions that they’re placing wanted ads on Craigslist. Alright, that’s a slight exaggeration, but by the time of this publication it very well may have happened. They are actively sending out emails for “every experience level,” and Politico has obtained a flyer that reads “There are positions currently open and we are looking for the most competent conservatives to recommend.”

With the recent CBS News report that White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Deputy Press Secretary Raj Shah are planning their departure from the White House, people are once again discussing the unprecedented turnover taking place in this administration. Showing the utter desperation to fill staffing jobs, the recruiting email promises “representatives from across the Trump administration will be there to meet job seekers of every experience level.” And they’re not just talking about low level coffee boys. The flyer mentions jobs including high government agencies such as Defense, Interior, Commerce, Homeland Security, Health & Human Services, NASA, Energy, and Treasury.

This appears to be a very serious effort focused on doing everything to fill the many open jobs, regardless of experience or qualifications. As Palmer Report previously documented, the Trump administration is not the best at vetting possible applicants, as the Presidential Personnel Office is currently run by “a college dropout with arrests for drunken driving and bad checks and a Marine Corps reservist with arrests for assault, disorderly conduct, [and] fleeing an officer” who play drinking games in their office.

In an effort to look legitimate, Johnny DeStefano, who oversees the White House personnel department, and Sean Doocey, a deputy assistant to the president for presidential personnel, will be present at the job fair. Sadly, at this point in the failure that is the Trump administration, anyone interested in filling one of these many jobs will likely be much less qualified than the unqualified individuals who have already fled the sinking ship.
