We told you Donald Trump was physically struggling to get through the G7

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

As we watched the footage of Donald Trump at the G7 summit, he was clearly struggling physically and mentally to get through it. He looked half dead for most of the event. His lumbering walk made him look like a zombie. He spoke in a weak voice with great effort. We thought his health issues at the G7 were so painfully obvious, we put it in a headline – and then we were surprised to find that we were the only ones. Now finally we’re getting outside confirmation that Trump truly was struggling at the G7.

Buried all the way down in the twenty-third paragraph of a New York Times article about Trump and the G7, we’ve found this nugget: “He arrived 18 minutes late for a Saturday session on gender equality and did not bother putting his headphones on for translation when President Emmanuel Macron of France spoke. At some points, Mr. Trump closed his eyes in what people in the room took to mean he was dozing off.”

Ah, so there it is. Trump didn’t merely come off like a half dead zombie when he was roaming the common areas at the G7 summit; he was struggling to stay conscious during meetings as well. As we pointed out earlier, Trump’s consistent pattern of arriving late to G7 meetings, and then departing them early, wasn’t merely an attempt at creating hostility. It was his handlers’ way of trying to limit the amount of energy he had to exert, and the amount of time he had to remain in public view. We know this because they did the same thing with Trump when he was visibly struggling to physically get through his Middle East trip last year.

We still don’t know why the mainstream media is so reticent to acknowledge the painfully obvious truth about Donald Trump’s health: even though he does virtually no work as president, he still routinely struggles to get through the day, physically and mentally. It’s not exhaustion due to overwork; the guy virtually lives his life as a vegetable. When he is forced to appear in public for more than a few minutes at a time, his failing health becomes more clear than ever. What makes Palmer Report different from other political outlets is that we’re willing to come out and say it.
