Melania Trump posts bizarre tweet, makes her disappearance even more suspicious

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Melania Trump has been missing for three weeks. Her disappearance was suspicious from the very beginning, as the initial medical explanation provided by the White House made no sense. Since that time we’ve been treated to obfuscation, misdirection, and outright lies. Her spokesperson swung and missed last night when it came to trying to put the controversy to bed. Now Melania herself – or whoever is controlling her Twitter account – just took another swing at it, and made things even worse.

Last night Melania’s spokesperson insisted that Melania’s three week disappearance was not a “long absence.” Uh, no, nice try. When the “First Lady” of the United States has vanished under suspicious circumstances, and no one among the media or the public has seen or heard from her in weeks, it’s ridiculous to try to reject the premise that this is a big deal. So now we got a tweet from Melania today, directly addressing the situation. It didn’t go well.

Here’s what Melania Trump tweeted this afternoon: “I see the media is working overtime speculating where I am & what I’m doing. Rest assured, I’m here at the White House w my family, feeling great, & working hard on behalf of children & the American people!” Wait a minute here. This sounds exactly like a Donald Trump tweet. It’s hyperbolic, it’s defensive, and it directly attacks the media for doing its job. This is not how Melania tweets or speaks – ever. So who the hell wrote this tweet?

It’s not difficult to figure out that this new tweet posted to Melania Trump’s Twitter account was crafted by Donald Trump or his people. Why would Melania sign off on such a ridiculous tweet that makes her sound like such an idiot? She wouldn’t have. Now we’ve gone from Melania having merely disappeared for three weeks, to Donald seemingly posting things on her Twitter account behind her back to try to explain away her ongoing absence. Whatever is going on here, it just keeps getting more scandalous.
