Donald Trump may have just come up with the dumbest tweet of all time

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

When historians someday assemble the list of the ten dumbest tweets of all time, Donald Trump will have been responsible for at least eight of them. Many of his Twitter posts have been so dumb, you’d almost need to invent new words to properly describe them. But now Trump may have managed to outdo himself, with a tweet which could indeed be the dumbest of all time.

Some context is required here. Trump woke up and spent the morning ranting about President Obama, Hillary Clinton, and thirteen non-existent Democrats in such mentally unstable fashion that at one point he actually typed the words “totally Crooked Campaign of totally Crooked Hillary Clinton.” But that’s not the tweet we’re talking about.

After having thoroughly established that he has nothing better to do than to sit around and lie about the people he can’t hold a candle to, even as his own world crashes and burns around him, Trump then tweeted this: “Sorry, I’ve got to start focusing my energy on North Korea Nuclear, bad Trade Deals, VA Choice, the Economy, rebuilding the Military, and so much more, and not on the Rigged Russia Witch Hunt that should be investigating Clinton/Russia/FBI/Justice/Obama/Comey/Lynch etc.”

Did Donald Trump just admit that the investigation into his treason scandal has distracted him from being able to accomplish anything? Yes he did. He also played himself for a fool by making clear that his life now consists of tweeting stupid lies about his adversaries and nothing more, before listing off the things that he knows he’ll never accomplish. We’re still not sure what the difference is between a “rigged witch hunt” and a regular witch hunt. But we know a defeated whiner when we see one.
