Donald Trump day is having his worst day ever, and it keeps getting worse for him

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Today began with Donald Trump having to reluctantly “cancel” his upcoming meeting with Kim Jong-Un, which Trump desperately needed, before an increasingly aggressive Kim could cancel it first. That alone cemented this as one of Trump’s worst days ever – yet the events that have unfolded throughout the rest of the day are ensuring that this is, perhaps by far, Trump’s worst day yet.

What could possibly be worse for Donald Trump than losing what would have been his only major accomplishment to date? That question was quickly answered. Trump’s closest pal Roger Stone was caught having committed espionage during the election by asking WikiLeaks for the emails that he believed Russian hackers stole from Hillary/DNC. So much for Trump’s longtime claim of “no collusion.” Not only was there collusion, it was on a treasonous level. Then things got even uglier.

Robert Mueller not-so-subtly fired back at the Trump administration over its false claim that Mueller had exonerated Jared Kushner. Michael Avenatti announced that the real “fireworks” are about to get started in the Trump-Cohen scandal. Randy Credico announced that he’s fully willing to sell out Stone to Mueller. Rudy Giuliani admitted that he and Trump haven’t spoken in weeks, even though Rudy is still supposedly Trump’s lawyer. So how’s this all shaping up?

Donald Trump’s only would-be accomplishment, a deal with Kim Jong-Un, has now evaporated. Trump’s gibberish primary legal defense of “no collusion” has turned into “yes espionage” and Stone’s emails prove it. Now that Trump is more of a sitting duck than ever, everyone from Mueller to Avenatti is ramping up the aggression against him. Remarkably, it’s still only 11:20pm on the east coast. This is already Trump’s worst day ever, and there are still another forty minutes for it to get even worse for him. While this has been his worst day yet, it’s clear that he has even worse days ahead of him.
