George W. Bush on losing end of inauguration poncho battle

We've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.

George W. Bush is officially no longer the worst President in the history of the United States now that corrupt Russian traitor Donald Trump has taken the oath of office. But when W made a public appearance today at the inauguration ceremony, he unwittingly reminded Americans that he’ll always be, well, the most George W. Bush of Presidents. As the public watched on television at home, they witnessed W in a losing battle with a rain poncho.

In a series of photos captured and posted by Trendspottr founder Mike Zohar, we got to see George W. Bush trying and failing to put on a poncho:

Then things get worse for W, and he appears to be trapped inside the poncho, even as President Obama appears to be aware that there’s someone behind him who’s losing a battle to a piece of plastic:

George W. Bush is clearly not happy about his losing poncho battle:

But then W smiles when he remembers that he’s no longer the worst President ever:

At this point we assume President Obama was just doing his best to ignore him.

It's been a tough week, a tough month, a tough year. For all of us. But the fight goes on. Because we know how important this is. Because we care. Because we're the ones who fight. It's you and me. It has been for a decade. And I'm never backing down. But Palmer Report does have operating expenses. And in this uncertain time, I truly need your help. For that reason I've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.
