Rod Rosenstein’s backdoor interrogation of Donald Trump

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

When it comes to what really transpired between Rod Rosenstein and Donald Trump today, the mainstream media swung and missed, on a level arguably not seen since the Hillary Clinton email hysteria. Most of the media is painting this as Trump having scored a major victory, Rosenstein having caved, and democracy having died. Nevermind, of course, that all of the evidence tells us the opposite. But it gets even better, because now we have confirmation that Rosenstein got to interrogate Trump today.

Here are the facts that most of the media is either foolishly overlooking or purposely ignoring: Donald Trump hit the panic button when he saw his pal Roger Stone announcing on television yesterday that he expects to be indicted and arrested. That’s what prompted Trump to suddenly demand that the DOJ investigate how the FBI was investigating the Trump campaign during the election. Rosenstein agreed to go along with it, because Rosenstein always pretends to give in to Trump’s demands in order to sate him. None of this will go anywhere – except for one crucial thing.

It’s now been confirmed that Donald Trump didn’t just send his goon squad to today’s meeting; he personally met with Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray about the matter.

We know how Donald Trump loves to run his mouth and give away his secrets in the hope of impressing people. So Rosenstein and Wray surely used this meeting as an opportunity at a backdoor interrogation of Trump about his Trump-Russia scandal. Think about it: Trump has bent over backward to try to avoid giving an interview about the scandal to Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Yet he marched into a room with Mueller’s boss Rod Rosenstein today, and voluntarily gave him an interview about the scandal. Trump is even dumber than we thought – and yes, Rosenstein is just that smart.
