Is Donald Trump trying to get rid of Melania Trump?

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. As I’ve said many times before, I on a personal level I couldn’t care less about the marriage between Donald Trump and Melania Trump. But when it comes an illegitimate and failing “president” who’s in danger of being ousted for his criminal scandals at any moment, it is politically relevant that his marriage is in freefall, and it complicates everything else he’s trying to muddle through. Based on today’s events, I’m left to ask if Trump is trying to get rid of Melania on purpose.

Melania disappeared into the hospital last week for what was supposedly a kidney procedure. But after she still hadn’t emerged from the hospital within an expected timeframe, the White House began refusing to answer questions about what was going on, and even refused to say if she was indeed still in the hospital. If her medical condition had simply become more complicated, the White House would have said so. So we know that was not at all what it appeared. Donald then made things far more suspicious today when he announced that “Melanie” – not Melania – had finally come home.

We all know that Donald Trump has trouble spelling just about everything, and in general; it’s not a stretch to think that Melania could have gotten autocorrected to Melanie. But not on Donald’s phone. Autocorrect is adaptive over time. Donald has typed “Melania” into his phone enough times that his autocorrect would not have changed it to “Melanie.” This raises the question of whether Donald did this on purpose to try to make her feel bad, and the answer requires some context.

Weeks ago Donald Trump went on Fox & Friends and announced that he failed to get Melania a birthday gift. It’s one thing to not get your wife a gift; it’s another to humiliate her by telling the whole world that you failed to get her a gift. It’s as if he’s been trying to punish her, in retaliation for her understandably hostile behavior (refusing to hold his hand, traveling in separate cars) since his affairs became public. Melania clearly wants out of the marriage. Is Donald Trump now trying to give her a push? In any case, this can only serve to further complicate Trump’s losing battle against his criminal scandals.
