Sean Hannity goes nuts after Donald Trump’s candidate Roy Moore loses in Alabama

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Roy Moore was defeated in Tuesday’s special election for U.S. Senate in Alabama. It was a loss for the Republican Party, and a victory for anyone who is morally opposed to child molestation, but it was an even bigger loss for the orange baboon in the White House. Donald Trump repeatedly endorsed Moore and even held a campaign rally for him, but didn’t move the needle for him at all. Predictably, Trump’s number one lackey Sean Hannity took the news rather poorly.

The race was called in favor of Democratic candidate Doug Jones long after Hannity’s nightly Fox News show had finished, so instead Hannity took to Twitter to air his grievances. He tweeted “MCConnell deserves a lot of the blame for Alabama. Mo Brooks would have won by 20% of the vote, and McConnell interference hurt badly.” Hannity’s failed capitalization of “McConnell” was so weird that one might have thought Donald Trump himself had ghostwritten the tweet. In any case it reveals how Trump and his apologists will try to spin this humiliating blow: they’re going to blame it on the Senate Majority Leader. Then Hannity went totally off the deep end.

Hannity continued by tweeting “Peter Strzok, Lisa Page text messages show how CORRUPT the SC Mueller and his team are.” Of course this is total fictional nonsense, and as if to underscore how ridiculous he knows his own tweet was, he added “Wow!” Then he went back to tweeting about Mo Brooks. Back in the real world, Donald Trump initially endorsed Luther Strange in the Alabama Senate race. After Strange lost badly in the primary, Trump endorsed Roy Moore. After Moore was exposed as an alleged serial child molester, Trump made a point of endorsing Moore again.

There’s no question whatsoever that Donald Trump married himself to Roy Moore. To that end, it appears Trump may have actually cost Moore votes by endorsing him. Moore was slightly ahead in polling averages at the time of the endorsement, but he ended up losing. Trump has become just that toxically unpopular. His lackey Sean Hannity, who has married himself to a sinking Trump, can’t be far behind.
