Exposed: Michael Flynn’s brother involved in blocking National Guard from responding to U.S. Capitol attack
Disgraced convicted felon Michael Flynn very publicly helped lead the charge in inciting the domestic terrorist attack against the U.S. Capitol on January 6th. His incitement was so blatant, Twitter ended up permanently banning him. It’s led to questions about what he and his allies might have been doing behind the scenes. Now we’re getting some truly ugly answers.
Michael Flynn’s brother Lieutenant General Charles Flynn was inexplicably in the room when the National Guard got the call from Capitol Police begging for reinforcements, according to a Washington Post bombshell tonight. As we all know, that request was delayed for hours before it was finally granted, allowing the terrorists to retain control of the Capitol building for an extended period of time.
Here’s the even more disturbing part. The Army flat out lied to the public and claimed that Charles Flynn wasn’t anywhere near the decision making process. Even Flynn is now admitting to the Post that he was in fact in the room. He’s claiming that he left the room under the mistaken assumption that the request was about to be approved. But if that’s the case, why would the Army have gone so far as to lie about him having been in the room at all?
This all suggests that the Trump administration ordered the Army to lie about it, in order to cover up Charles Flynn’s role in this. To be clear, Donald Trump is the only person who could have given such an order. And we’ve all spent the past four years watching Trump bend over backward to try to protect Michael Flynn at all cost.
Now that the lid has been blown off this attempted coverup, we expect the rest of the details will all come out. We’re now looking at an Army investigation, on top of the federal government’s ongoing criminal investigation, into who delayed the dispatch of the National Guard and why. And now you can draw a straight line back to Michael Flynn of all people. For the record, Flynn’s pardon doesn’t cover crimes that he may have committed after he got pardoned. This is going to be ugly.
